Maniac Mansion exists because Gary and I were too stupid to know it couldn't be done. As I get older and more experienced I am losing the ability to be too stupid to know things can't be done. Experience can be a curse.
@grumpygamer I think modernizing design ideas from this game is part of what has me excited to make an adventure game now. I'm glad I'm making design choices that I don't know can be done but what feels right for adventure games now after reading this
